About Jillian:
Welcome to my kitchen! I am a 29 yr old who loves to cook! I do not cook for a living, in fact I'm a project manager at an Architecture Firm in Baltimore, MD. I find that cooking is one of the best ways for me to decompress after a long day. I get to take time for me, make something nice, and sometimes share it with those that matter in my life. I love to cook with others and learn new things, while also teaching my recipes to my friends and family. Two years ago I wrote a cookbook of family and friend favorites and I find I am still finding new recipes to explore and share and thought this would be the best way to do it. I will be sharing the things I make weekly, great recipe websites, and other recipes I can't wait to try. I hope you find something useful here and encourage you to post any thoughts and comments as well as modifications to the recipes if you give them a try! - Jillian-

Simple Tomato Sauce
So a few weeks ago I started using the more expensive San Marzano whole peeled tomatoes from the grocery store to make my tomato sauces. I can’t get over how fresh and “straight from the garden” these sauces taste and … Continue reading

When I have a craving for something sweet or chocolaty I will often make one of Jello’s Sugar Free/Fat Free pudding mixes. While they are processed I like that I use milk to make them and they are relatively low … Continue reading

Sausage & Rice Skillet
Yet again it was getting late in the evening, heading on 9:00 and I needed to make something for dinner. Obviously something that could be made pretty quickly, was tasty and that was Jillian’s Kitchen worthy! I think I had … Continue reading
Pin ItRoasted Asparagus with a Dijon Balsamic Glaze
I opened my crisper today (the day before I go grocery shopping) hoping to find a vegetable in there that would be quick to cook up to go with some left overs. To my delight I had a pound of … Continue reading
